Auditing and opinions on the fairness of balance-sheet presentation
We audit the balance-sheet and then issue a report giving an independent opinion on the fairness of it.
Our procedure at AGKNSERCA enables us to use auditing also as a means of inspection of company management.
Limited Auditing
This basically consists of a critical study of some items on a balance-sheet or individual operations depending on what is required of us.
Though with limited scope, in this way we can concentrate on correct assessment of the balance-sheet entries in question and the fairness of individual operations.
It concerns, for example:
- inventory and evaluation of stocks, ready cash or bond;
- production data evaluation;
- evaluation of the state of progress of works;
- assessment and control of imports and exports;
- credit or debt assessment;
- ascertation of correct fulfilment of contract clauses or non-competition clauses;
- assessment of the quantity produced, product composition, market shares and use of patents for payment of royalties.
Procedure, Analysis and Evaluation
We analyse accounting, administration, tax, and data-processing procedures actually in operation. In this way, we can pick out procedures considered to be inadequate, i.e. those which:
- do not allow sufficient internal control of company assets and their position on the balance-sheet;
- lead to inefficiency and disservice;
- may raise objections from Public Administration.
For all these procedures AGKNSERCA is able to explain the risk the company faces and put forward suggestions to correct the mistakes noted.
Administration and Accounting
AGKNSERCA also has acquired lengthy experience in developing and putting into practice systems for company administration and accounting, in particular:
- General and analytical accounting systems;
- Management reporting systems;
- Operational procedures;
- Planning and budget control systems.
All these procedures are defined together with the client according to the actual requirements, on the basis of varied experience.
AGKNSERCA provides clearly-put manuals, forms, procedure analyses, and flow systems specifically for the user and they can easily be updated or modified.
Balance-sheet Analysis
AGKNSERCA provides quantity and quality evaluation of economic, financial trends and assets and liabilities through the years. These trends, which are interpreted with special indexes, are potentially very informative and can aid the development of economic-financial programmes.
Tax Auditing
Not always is it easy for a small company to keep up to date with the continuous changes in tax regulations, their exact interpretation and application.
With tax auditing we can simulate tax inspections on direct and/or indirect taxation, as a trial run for results which might be reached by official bodies should there be an inspection.
Auditing is completed by a report which can be produced to certify external tax inspection.
Company Assessment
The main activities in this sector are balance-sheet analysis and evaluation for quotation on the Stock Exchange (including evaluation of the consistency of stocks and shares issuing prices), special operations such as incorporations, mergers and winding-up.
Drawing up of Group consolidated balances
The consolidated balance of companies belonging to a single economic group is the key to an overall view of the company, with considerable advantages for management and obtaining financing and fresh capital.
AGKNSERCA audits the consolidated balance prepared by the main company or assists in drawing it up.
AGKNSERCA is associated to AGN International, a worldwide association of separate and independent accounting and advisory firms.
Given its constitutive and operating characteristics AGN International is not configured as a "network" pursuant to art. 1 co. 1 letter l) of Legislative Decree n. 39/2010.
